Este artigo intenciona somar na problematização e na discussão teórica sobre os processos e práticas de educação de mulheres em cursos de graduação considerados historicamente como masculinos. Situa o problema da pesquisa por meio da apresentação do lócus da pesquisa, da criação e da especificidade dos cursos de Engenharia Civil, Engenharia Elétrica e Engenharia Mecânica do Campus Universitário de Tucuruí da Universidade Federal do Pará. Apresenta a articulação entre o conceito de gênero e o de memória, este último articulado à metodologia da história oral, para discutir sobre as possibilidades do estudo sobre as razões, os modos e os efeitos dos estereótipos de gênero na constituição, no decorrer dos processos formativos, das identidades de mulheres egressas desses cursos.
This article intends to add on the critical and theoretical discussion about the processes and practices on women’s education in graduation courses historically considered as male’s. The research problem is situated by presenting the locus of research, the foundation and specificity of the graduation courses: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in Campus Tucuruí of the Federal University of Pará. Presents the link between the concept of gender and memory, the last one articulated with the oral history methodology to discuss the possibilities of the study about the reasons, the modes and effects of gender stereotypes in the constitution, during the formative processes, of women identities who were in these graduation courses.
