The board game is considered a playful tool, which refers to the learning development through the enjoyment and contextualization of knowledge, expanding the students understanding. The Electrochemistry studies the phenomena that involves our daily life, such as the corrosion of metals and the comprehension of the relation between the electric energy and chemical energy. Therefore, the propose in this article is the development and the application of a board game with emphasis in the Electrochemistry teaching, being it a board game with universal entertainment, which it can ableto work with in the three grades of High School Basic Education. The game was made with recycled materials and, later, in a second version, the board game was produced in graphic art, being an economic artifact and easy to handle. The performed research had as a methodology a descriptive, analytical and qualitative approach of the produced chemistry artifact application, aiming the construction of ateaching learning materialto help the teacher to develop curricular contents in the Electrochemistry teaching. Therefore, the “Playing with the Chemistry” became intoa stimulant teaching tool, as a way of arousing the interest of chemistry knowledge and provided the students more than the contents memorization, and, more meaningful knowledge. Therefore, the obtained results by the developed pedagogical moments demonstrate what the “Playing with the Chemistry” increased in the students interest in a Electrochemistry content and expanded their scientific knowledge, promoting a greater meaning of concepts, besides having allowed a bigger interaction between the classmatesand the teacher.
