Neste trabalho exploramos os conteúdos de Mínimo Múltiplo Comum (MMC) e Máximo Divisor Comum (MDC) por meio de discussões sobrea interpretação geométrica, definições e conceitos. As definições e os procedimentos na matemática são comumente ensinados com o uso de algoritmos escritos o que exige repensar as práticas de professores que a ensinam, sobretudo práticas pedagógicas que permitam desenvolver o domínio do conhecimento e da linguagem matemática

In this paper we focus on important discussion contexts for its elaboration: the geometric visualization and the mathematical concepts problematized to the content of the Common Minimum Multiple (MMC) and Maximum Common Divider (MDC). Definitions and procedures in mathematics are commonly taught using written algorithms which require rethinking the practices of teachers who teach mathematics, particularly pedagogical practices involving the acquisition and mastery of mathematical language.
