É possível que a Estratégia de Saúde da Família atenda in loco os idosos acolhidos em instituição de longa permanência? A partir da base jurídica que estabelece tal dever prestacional ao Poder Público são pensadas atuações institucionais à disposição do Ministério Público para tanto. Pretende-se ainda determinar, além dos efeitos positivos quanto à saúde individual dos atendidos, o impacto coletivo para a promoção da regularização das instituições de longa permanência, desde o seu regular cadastramento no Conselho Municipal de Direitos dos Idosos até a observância das normas sanitárias.
The study consists in the analysis of the applicability and the possibility of expansion of the initiative to bring home care of the Family Health Strategy to the elderly in long-term care institutions. Based on the legal basis that establishes such a duty to the Government, institutional strategies for the Public Prosecution Service are discussed. It is also intended to determine, in addition to the positive effects on the individual health of those cared for, the collective impact for the promotion of regularization of long-term care institutions, from their regular registration with the Municipal Council of Elderly Rights to compliance with sanitary surveillance standards.
