O Podcast IFMA foi um projeto de extensão cujo objetivo foi aproximar a comunidade da cidade de Imperatriz-MA, por meio da mídia digital podcast, da instituição de ensino IFMA, fazendo-a conhecer as atividades desenvolvidas na instituição, no âmbito do ensino, pesquisa e extensão. Com esse objetivo, buscamos aproximar a sociedade, especialmente professores e estudantes, da produção científica e da literatura da região tocantina, como também empregar a mídia digital podcast em atividades remotas de ensino. O projeto foi pensado e executado por professores, técnicos administrativos e alunos da instituição. A vigência do projeto ocorreu de agosto a dezembro de 2020 e foram produzidos conteúdos de Podcast em episódios semanais, disponibilizados nas plataformas Spotify, Google Podcasts e Deezer. O público-alvo é formado por escolas da rede municipal, estadual e a comunidade interna do campus. Concluiu-se que o alcance da mídia podcast, a partir de seu ineditismo, no contexto das instituições públicas da região e do próprio campus, acrescentou discussões acerca da literatura regional e nacional, além de dar visibilidade à produção acadêmica do IFMA.
The IFMA Podcast was an extension project aiming at bringing the community closer to the city of Imperatriz-MA, through the digital media podcast, of the educational institution IFMA, making the community know the activities developed at the institution, in the context of teaching, scientific research and extension. With the purpose of bringing society, especially professors and students, closer to scientific production and literature of the region, as well as employing podcast digital media in remote teaching activities. The project was designed and executed by professors, administrative technicians and students from the institution. The project was realized from August to December 2020, and the podcast contents were produced in weekly episodes, it was available on Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Deezer platforms. The target audience is constituted by municipal and state public schools and the inner campus community. It was concluded that the reach of the podcast media, based on its originality, in the context of public institutions in the region and the campus itself, added discussions about regional and national literature, in addition giving visibility to the academic production of IFMA.
