This paper aims to problematize the practice of street skating as an object of reflection in teaching of Geography. Aims to demonstrate how the skaters star in the reframing of the city through original uses of urban furniture. It is strengthening the movement that articulates the spatial practices of young people to traditional themes of Geography. From the reference to the concept of public space, we seek to demonstrate that the use of the everyday practices of youth lets discuss conflicts, identity relations and processes related to social production of space.
